We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager with a strong background in consumer-facing products. The ideal candidate will have expertise in agile and iterative development processes, a deep understanding of customer requirements, and experience working with design teams to craft custom UX experiences. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of Smule's AV and AI pipeline
  • Define AV/AI vision and roadmap based on market research, customer insights and business goals
  • Work with Data and BI teams to gather and analyze customer requirements to inform product features and enhancements.
  • Translate customer insights into actionable product specifications and user stories.
  • Oversee iterative development processes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality product increments.
  • Collaborate closely with design teams to create and refine user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) elements.
  • Implement and manage (A/B testing) to evaluate design and feature effectiveness.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance post-release, gathering feedback and making data-driven improvements.
  • Build strong relationships with engineering teams and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and ensure project success.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and make data-driven decisions.
  • Report on product performance, user feedback, and progress to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated Product Management expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts, with hands-on experience in implementing AI-driven solutions.
  • Proven track record of leading projects where innovative ideas were tested, with an ability to learn from failures and iterate quickly.
  • Strong understanding of agile and iterative development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in defining customer requirements and working with design teams to deliver custom UX experiences.
  • Hands-on experience with A/B Testing and test release iterations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to interpret complex data, generate actionable insights, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Experience in UX/UI design principles, or a background in a design discipline that informs product development and user experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Nice to have; basic proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, or integration tasks, with the ability to collaborate with technical teams on development.
